  The School of Business Administratian of Shenyang Pharmaceutical University began to be founded in 1982. Its predecesor was the Teaching and Researching Section of Pharmaceutics of Shenyang Pharmaceutical University. in 1986 it became an independant department and began to enroll undergraduates of pharmaceutical enterprise management, its educational system was 4 school yeats and enrolled 60 students every year. Meanwhile it also undertook management courses of other departments.
    In 1995 it formally became a school. At present it has 3 specialities of enterprise management, marketing and international economy and trade and confer the degree of Bachelor of Management and Bachelor of Economics. There are over 400 students at the school. From 2001 it will enroll 8 classes. The scale of running the school will be further broadened. The 3 specialities set up in the school are all badly needed popular specialities in the pharmaceutical economic development of our country, Being different from universal management speciality the 3 specialities are applicable specialities with the distinctive features of the combination of pharmacy, economy and management and cross disciplines. Practice has proved that the graduates had firm basic knowledge of pharmacy and management, wide thinking, enterprising spirit and strong adaptability, Its graduates won high praise from the units which they worked in. In many years the supply was unabte to meet the demand. The ratio of supply and demand was 1:10. Many of the graduates have been management backbone of pharmaceutical enterprises or institutions.
    The school began to enroll postgraduates of pharmaceutical management in 1994. Up to now five batches of students have graduated. From 2001 the school will set up a unit of enterprise management postgraduates and enroll postgraduates independently. At present many administrative personnel have come to the school to conduct advanced studies.
    In the school there is a contingent of united and promising teaching and admioistrative personnel who are in the prime ol lite, They work actively, study assiduously and have gained outstanding achivements. In the 10th Five-Year Plan the structures of the titiles of technical and professional posts, of records of formal schooling, of age and relationship of the former graduating colleges and universities will be iraproved and the comprehensive strength wil be raised considerably.
    While finishing the heavy teaching tasks, the broad masses of the teachers actively carry out scientific research, They undertake many problems for study from National Fund of Natural Science, National Ministry of Education, the State Pharmaceutical Administration, the Education, on Department of Liaoning Province, the University and their own. They published monographs or teaching materials as editors-in-chief or editors.
